Summer is almost over...

Summer is almost done for me and Maddie. I have one more week off until I go back to work. I have had so much fun with her this summer, but it went by way too fast. I'm so happy I got to see her crawl for the first time, pull herself up to stand, say ma ma ma ma, ba ba ba ba for the first time and make her laugh every day.

Since she loves to stand I went out and got her a kitchen for her to stand at. She loves it!! When I brought it home the first day, she was squeeling and laughing so hard playing with it...

Floor mania

Stephen had off for the 4th so we decided to put our floors in that we bought LAST summer. What a project!! We repainted the living room, put the floors down all with a new dog in the house and a baby that is crawling and putting everything in her mouth. Needless to say I think I lost about 20 pounds this week chasing her around while trying to work....

6 Month Check-up!!

We went to the doctor today and my baby is a growing champ!! She weighed in at 15 pounds 3 1/2 ounces and is 26 1/4 inches long. The doctor said that she looks great and is growing perfectly and is amazed at her milestones that she has completed. Yeah for Maddie!! The shots of course were a bummer, but these were the last ones till her 12 month appointment!! When we got home she did a lot of sleeping and resting. These appointments take a lot out of her!!

Silly Momma

I screwed up somehow and deleted my old blogger. SO I immediately created a new one for the viewers delight!! Stephen had a great first father's day. We had a great breakfast with Jay and Annise, came home and set up his hammock!! We then had his parents over for dinner. It was a great day for a great dad!! So here are some pictures and videos of some fun times with Madison!
Madison has been wanting to help when she eats. She holds the spoon and puts it in her mouth, but she gets SO excited about eating that the food gets all over her!

Next week we are going to put in our floors and get rid of the carpet. So this week we have been trying to decide what color to paint our living room. Madison loved watching her dad paint the walls!
